Uwe Boll is a German film director who is widely known for his critically panned, box-office-bomb movies--especially ones based off of video game franchises. He has made millions of dollars due to loopholes in German filmmaking laws. His films are known for their atrocious acting, scripts, cinematography, editing, production...well, pretty much everything.
He also won the rare "Worst Career Achievement" award at the Golden Raspberries.
In 2016, he declared that he was finally done making video-game-based movie because "the market has run dry." Millions rejoiced.
