A Chef and a Barista can apparently afford this

Unrealistic Real Estate
is a trope of Tiradesverse movies that occurs when characters (typically protagonists?) have absurdly nice houses or apartments, despite there being no conceivable way they could ever afford these dwellings. This also includes bedrooms that are ludicrously big and probably take up half the acrage of the house's property. Common instances of this are:
  • Younger or late-teenage character with single parents whose jobs are never divulged
  • Poor, single characters with ridiculously fancy apartments
  • Characters that have jobs that would in no way allow them to afford nice living spaces
